Senior Account Manager, Employee Health & Benefits
Overview
You will own client relationships and deliver comprehensive service plans for employee health & benefits accounts at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), a Top Workplace with 200 offices across North America. You will lead the client service team, coordinate renewals, and drive cross-selling opportunities, working onsite in Alpharetta, GA, three days per week. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships by phone, email, and in person.
- 2Execute a comprehensive client service plan for all assigned accounts that address business needs and risk management goals.
- 3Lead the client service team in service activities related to administration, billing, claims issues, and problem solving.
- 4Coordinate internal and external activities to ensure new and renewal accounts are handled timely, accurately, and professionally.
- 5Continually seek cross-sell opportunities and suggest new lines of coverage.
- 6Monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients, coordinating meetings to present renewals and supporting documents.
- 7Lead the marketing of smaller, less complex accounts and independently prepare marketing information.
- 8Manage the implementation process, preparing and delivering all applicable forms to clients.
- 9Formulate a plan with the Producer to conduct relationship management meetings and visits with assigned clients.
- 10Mentor team members and attend seminars, classes, and carrier meetings to stay current on products and legislative changes.
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
- 25+ years of relevant insurance industry experience.
- 3Appropriate insurance license(s) as required by the state.
- 4Strong client relations skills to build and maintain positive business relationships, including excellent communication and service orientation.
- 5Ability to use leadership skills by providing direction, constructive feedback, development, and training.
- 6Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- 7Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
