What You'll Do11
- 1Provide friendly helpful and respectful guest service to enhance shopping experience
- 2Package and label seafood accurately following weight pricing and regulatory guidelines
- 3Assist guests with seafood selection preparation tips and product recommendations
- 4Stock rotate and face products using FIFO methods to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- 5Monitor product dates storage conditions and temperature logs to ensure quality
- 6Maintain clean organized and fully stocked seafood cases and displays
- 7Handle proper seafood storage and temperature control adhering to food safety standards
- 8Operate scales wrappers scanners and seafood tools safely and accurately
- 9Develop knowledge of seafood products pricing and promotions to drive sales
- 10Monitor inventory levels and communicate low excess or damaged items to leadership
- 11Maintain a clean safe work environment across sales floor and backroom areas
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma GED or equivalent work experience
- 2Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- 3Experience in grocery retail food service or seafood departments
- 4Knowledge of food safety sanitation standards
- 5Knife handling and seafood preparation experience preferred
- 6Ability to provide recommendations on seafood selection preparation and cooking methods
