What You'll Do9
- 1Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting mattresses bedding accessories and related products
- 2Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various mattresses and sleep solutions
- 3Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customer needs and offering tailored recommendations
- 4Manage point-of-sale POS transactions accurately including cash handling and processing payments efficiently
- 5Upsell complementary products such as pillows bed frames or mattress protectors to maximize sales opportunities
- 6Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is clean stocked and inviting
- 7Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves and participating in periodic stock counts
- 8Communicate effectively with team members regarding stock levels customer feedback and sales goals
- 9Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments
Requirements9
- 1Previous retail sales experience preferred especially in mattress or home goods stores
- 2Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- 3Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers bilingual abilities are a plus
- 4Experience with product demos and upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases
- 5Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- 6Knowledge of merchandising standards and stocking procedures in a retail environment
- 7Excellent customer service skills with a friendly energetic attitude
- 8Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
- 9Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced grocery store or retail setting while maintaining attention to detail
