What You'll Do8

  • 1Define and implement data governance standards for Risk and Compliance domains, including data quality rules, metadata, and lineage.
  • 2Partner with business and technology teams to catalog data assets and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • 3Lead data stewardship forums to resolve data issues and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • 4Design and maintain a data dictionary for Risk and Compliance data, ensuring consistent definitions and usage.
  • 5Drive adoption of data quality metrics and dashboards to monitor data health.
  • 6Collaborate with model risk management to validate data used in risk models.
  • 7Support regulatory exams by providing data lineage and control evidence.
  • 8Develop training materials to promote data stewardship best practices across the organization.

Requirements8

  • 15+ years in data governance, data management, or data stewardship within financial services.
  • 23+ years focused on Risk or Compliance data domains.
  • 3Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra or Informatica.
  • 4Strong SQL skills for data profiling and analysis.
  • 5Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like BCBS 239, CCAR, or GDPR.
  • 6Experience with data lineage and metadata management.
  • 7Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • 8Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
