Enterprise Finance Master Data Steward
Overview
Lead the quality and integrity of finance master data as a champion for critical data assets. Report to the Enterprise Data Office and partner with IT to implement data governance policies. Drive transformation across pipeline acceleration manufacturing excellence sales effectiveness and productivity priorities.
What You'll Do11
- 1Define and document critical data elements business rules and standards in the enterprise data catalogue
- 2Manage data quality by establishing rules metrics and leading root cause analysis
- 3Govern data access by creating review and approval processes aligned with governance policies
- 4Drive issue resolution triaging data related problems with producers and consumers
- 5Oversee the data lifecycle from creation acquisition to archival and disposal
- 6Champion data literacy promoting proper use and understanding across the enterprise
- 7Collaborate with governance bodies representing the Customer and Price data domain
- 8Serve the business designing data architecture translating strategic priorities into actionable specifications
- 9Measure impact and success collaborating with business and IT to define kpis demonstrating data value
- 10Champion best practices staying current with data management innovations
- 11Act as the crucial link between business stakeholders and IT to ensure data trust and effectiveness
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Data Process or related field preferred
- 28+ years of business domain expertise in finance manufacturing commercial or similar function
- 3Strong foundational knowledge of data governance principles including data quality metadata management and stewardship
- 4Experience with data cataloguing tools such as Collibra and data quality management software
- 5Analytical mindset with excellent problem solving skills to investigate complex data issues
- 6Exceptional communication and influence abilities collaborating across technical and business teams
- 7Attention to detail meticulous approach to managing data definitions standards and quality
- 8Process oriented experience improving data flow through systematic thinking
- 9Data driven attitude passionate about leveraging data for business outcomes
- 10Understanding of data architecture principles including modeling integration patterns and platform concepts
- 11Issue resolution skills facilitating escalation of complex problems to governance bodies or IT
