Data Quality Product Owner, Enterprise Data Governance
Overview
You will own the enterprise Data Quality capability, defining standards and metrics across collibra, ataccama, and sap landscapes. You lead a matrixed team of stewards and engineers to embed quality checks into every pipeline. This role differs by pairing Collibra governance with hands-on SQL profiling and direct collaboration with databricks and aws architecture. You report to the Enterprise Data Governance Leader and drive adoption across salesforce and workday data domains.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build the enterprise Data Quality framework within 90 days, documenting rules for Collibra and Ataccama platforms.
- 2Lead data profiling sessions with SQL on Snowflake and Redshift to identify anomalies and define thresholds.
- 3Drive implementation of data quality dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, updating kpi metrics monthly.
- 4Partner with tooling team to configure Informatica and Talend jobs detecting duplicates and missing values.
- 5Onboard data stewards to Collibra workflows, assigning ownership and automating issue resolution.
- 6Conduct root cause analysis for SAP and Oracle data issues, coordinating fixes with engineering teams.
- 7Scale monitoring from 10 critical fields to 100+ by integrating Great Expectations into Databricks pipelines.
- 8Publish weekly quality scorecards to business owners and present quarterly trends to governance council.
Requirements8
- 17+ years in data quality or data governance roles, with 2+ years as product owner or lead.
- 23+ years hands-on with Collibra or Ataccama, including rule creation and workflow management.
- 35+ years writing SQL queries and profiling data across Snowflake, Redshift, or Oracle.
- 42+ years managing data quality tooling like Informatica or Talend in production.
- 5Experience with Databricks and AWS data pipelines, including Spark transformations.
- 63+ years in healthcare or financial services, regulatory compliance standards like HIPAA or SOX.
- 7Strong stakeholder communication, documented using Jira or Confluence.
- 84-year degree in computer science, data management, or equivalent field.
