Overview
The Data Governance Manager (Supplier Data) leads data governance, quality, risk, and compliance initiatives to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance. This role partners with stakeholders to define governance policies, drives UAT and testing, oversees DQM controls, and collaborates cross‑functionally to improve data processes and maintain system stability.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead data governance, data quality, risk, and compliance initiatives to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance
- 2Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define governance policies and business rules
- 3Analyze data issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop recommendations to improve data quality
- 4Establish and monitor Data Quality Management controls and metrics
- 5Develop and maintain governance documentation and procedures
- 6Lead User Acceptance Testing and validation efforts for data implementations
- 7Manage data collection, sharing, utilization, protection, cleaning, and storage processes
- 8Set goals for data team and measure results through data quality metrics
- 9Maintain stability of multiple projects and collaborate with IT development
- 10Provide business requirements for master data attributes and review data quality issues
- 11Oversee the data governance team and ensure end‑to‑end data process flow
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- 2Expertise in Informatica Oracle SQL Data Bricks PowerBI SAP
- 3Experience with Microsoft products
- 45+ years data domain and business operations experience
- 55+ years experience with master data management and data tools
- 62+ years supervisory experience
- 72+ years experience with Supplier Data
- 8Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- 9Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross‑functional teams
- 10Experience researching and enhancing systems and processes across business units
- 11Collaboration with high‑level stakeholders including Legal Compliance and Supplier Relations
