You will own the repair and calibration of refractive products like refractometers, lensometers, and phoropters at a global medical imaging company based in Oakland, New Jersey. What You'll Do10
- 1Clean, inspect, calibrate, and repair refractive products including refractometers, lensometers, keratometers, and phoropters.
- 2Perform functional checks of mechanical parts and identify damaged, missing, or malfunctioning components.
- 3Document all repairs and quality-control forms in Salesforce CRM with accuracy.
- 4Follow quality, safety, and repair procedures for every task.
- 5Maintain a clean and safe work area to prevent contamination and accidents.
- 6Communicate repair status and issues to team members clearly in English or Spanish.
- 7Use basic hand tools to disassemble and reassemble optical devices with precision.
- 8Complete all assigned repairs within the expected turnaround time.
- 9Support inventory management by tracking parts used and reporting needs.
- 10Adhere to strict quality standards and pass final checks before shipping.
Requirements12
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 21+ year quality control experience preferred.
- 31+ year equipment repair experience preferred.
- 41+ year data entry experience preferred.
- 5Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, including ability to follow instructions and use basic hand tools.
- 6Basic computer and data-entry skills, including ability to learn and use Salesforce CRM.
- 7Ability to communicate in either English or Spanish.
- 8Ability to sit and work at a repair desk for extended periods.
- 9Ability to report to the Oakland, New Jersey office every scheduled workday, and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- 10Valid Driver's License required.
- 11Must be available for day shift.
- 12Must be able to commute to Oakland, NJ 07436 (required).
