Field Service Technician I, Medical Devices
Overview
You will own product readiness for patient use across a range of rental and customer-owned medical products. This role blends hands-on repair with customer interaction in hospital and service settings. You will troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems and operate fleet vehicles. Your work directly supports critical patient moments, and you will cover 24/7 on-call shifts.
What You'll Do7
- 1Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on assigned medical products.
- 2Perform cleaning, disinfection, and operational function checks to ensure product readiness.
- 3Diagnose and fix malfunctioning components using appropriate tools.
- 4Load, unload, and transport medical products, including items up to 1680 pounds.
- 5Drive a box truck or company car, ranging from a cargo van to a 26,000-pound truck, for deliveries and service calls.
- 6Provide on-call support up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays, for customer account visits.
- 7Generate service revenue by completing activities under service contracts.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 3At least 21 years of age
- 4Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- 5Ability to lift and move products up to 1680 pounds
- 6Availability for 24/7 on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays
