Overview
You will own the delivery, setup, and sanitization of medical equipment for Atlanta-area hospitals and nursing homes. Operating out of the Doraville service center, you drive a 24-foot cargo van, manage paperwork, and ensure every unit meets Arjo quality standards. You work Monday-Friday on a fixed shift with rotating on-call, earning $22-24/hr plus bonuses. This role combines frontline customer interaction with hands-on logistics, backed by paid training and a supportive team.
What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare medical equipment and documentation for delivery, ensuring each unit matches the rental order.
- 2Load and unload medical equipment, securing items for safe transit in a 24-foot cargo van.
- 3Drive a company vehicle on local routes to deliver and pick up Arjo equipment at medical facilities.
- 4Process delivery and pick-up documentation, confirming signatures and accuracy in the field.
- 5Search for misplaced or lost equipment, using tracking systems and on-site checks to recover assets.
- 6Maintain vehicle appearance by completing routine maintenance checks and logging service records.
- 7Clean and disinfect medical equipment to Arjo quality standards, using approved solvents and cleaners.
- 8Present professional customer etiquette in every patient and staff interaction, representing Arjo positively.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 22+ years of front-line customer service experience.
- 3Clean driving record with no moving violations in the last 3 years.
- 4Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate.
- 5Ability to enter information into work logs and computer systems.
- 6Ability to lift up to 30lbs and push/pull up to 75lbs.
- 7Ability to drive a work truck, including a 24-foot cargo van.
- 8Comfort working with solvents and cleaners in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- 9Willingness to undergo a 10-panel drug screening as a condition of employment.
