Rental Services Apprentice Technician, HVAC & Field Service
Overview
The role owns end to end testing, startup, commissioning, and servicing of commercial HVAC on customer sites within a defined market. You will collaborate with project teams, customers, and internal partners to diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support onsite installations. This is a field based, on site role with exposure to healthcare, education, events, and office environments. You will gain access to training on new technology and a clear path for growth.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and perform end to end testing, startup, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects
- 2Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations or depots to ensure customer satisfaction
- 3Coordinate with team leader and customer to define on site installation and repair requirements
- 4Inspect sites using blueprints and engineering specs and synchronize on site work
- 5Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and service requests
- 6Communicate inspection findings to customers and project managers
- 7Maintain safety standards and asset security for company issued assets
- 8Document equipment use and wear and manage tool and material inventory
- 9Provide flexible coverage including overtime and occasional overnight stays
- 10Engage with customers and vendors to support field operations and troubleshooting
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 22-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC or technical field
- 3Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices
- 4EPA Universal Certification preferred
- 5Ability to read blueprints and electrical/mechanical diagrams

$37 - $64k per year
