What You'll Do10

  • 1Diagnose and repair HVAC units using blueprints and engineering specs, ensuring optimal performance.
  • 2Perform preventive maintenance and site surveys, identifying issues before they become major problems.
  • 3Prepare for installations by evaluating building layouts, anticipating challenges, and gathering materials.
  • 4Inspect and maintain company vehicles, keeping logs and scheduling repairs to ensure readiness.
  • 5Monitor equipment for wear, documenting findings and notifying customers or the operations manager.
  • 6Represent the company as the primary customer contact, determining parts needs and urgency.
  • 7Document all work with daily logs, progress notes, and time tracking, submitting reports on schedule.
  • 8Read and interpret product specifications to stay current on installation, operation, and repair standards.
  • 9Provide technical support to customers, resolving issues with HVAC systems efficiently.
  • 10Work overtime and weekends as needed, with regular travel and occasional overnight stays.

Requirements8

  • 15+ years of HVAC service and repair experience.
  • 2Proficiency with hand tools and reading blueprints or engineering specifications.
