What You'll Do9

  • 1Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, air handlers, pumps, and boilers.
  • 2Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, adjusting and testing to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • 3Respond to service calls, identifying root causes of failures and recommending effective repair solutions.
  • 4Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
  • 5Document service activities, equipment conditions, and repair recommendations in service records.
  • 6Communicate with customers and facility managers about system issues and repair options.
  • 7Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and parts to ensure readiness for service calls.
  • 8Support emergency service calls and after-hours work when required.
  • 9Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements7

  • 13+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
  • 2Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for commercial HVAC equipment.
  • 3Experience servicing rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, and VAV systems.
  • 4Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC controls.
  • 5Chiller and boiler service experience preferred.
  • 6OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • 7Ability to work independently in a fast-paced service environment.
