What You'll Do6
- 1Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in commercial buildings.
- 2Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC/R equipment, including compressors and controls.
- 3Service rooftop units, furnaces, exhaust fans, walk-in coolers, and ice machines.
- 4Collaborate with the service team to hit response times and quality marks.
- 5Log every job with parts used and time spent in the field service app.
- 6Follow OSHA lockout/tagout and refrigerant handling rules on every call.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of hands-on HVAC/R service or install work.
- 2Hold or be ready to get EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerants.
- 3Read NATE-style wiring diagrams and troubleshoot with a multimeter.
- 4Work solo on rooftops and in tight mechanical rooms without issue.
- 5Communicate repair options to clients in plain English.
- 6Pass a background check and drug screen for commercial site access.
