You will own HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation across 1 billion square feet of commercial and industrial space for top-tier clients. What You'll Do10

  • 1Perform preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment, including compressors, pumps, and condensers.
  • 2Diagnose system malfunctions by discussing issues with users, reading gauges and instruments, and adjusting valves and controls.
  • 3Operate refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, and charging equipment to service HVAC systems.
  • 4Assemble components using screws, bolts, rivets, welding, and brazing for motors, controls, and switches.
  • 5Install wiring to connect components to electric power sources, ensuring proper operation.
  • 6Cut, thread, and gas weld pipe to connect functional components of HVAC systems.
  • 7Fabricate and install sheet metal ducts and related components, including cutting, bending, and crimping.
  • 8Lubricate fans, motors, and control units to maintain performance.
  • 9Maintain organized inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, and keep the shop area clean.
  • 10Respond to hot/cold temperature complaints promptly, documenting readings and actions.

Requirements9

  • 1High School or GED with 1+ years of industrial HVAC experience, or technical school training.
  • 2Valid driver's license and Universal Recovery Certification.
  • 3Ability to read blueprints, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
  • 4Skilled in welding, brazing, and sheet metal work.
  • 5Comfortable with hand tools and power tools for HVAC repair.
  • 6Flexible schedule for days, evenings, weekends, and emergencies.
  • 7Professional appearance and communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • 8Strong attendance record with timely notification of absences.
