Release Train Engineer, SAFe Agile & Cloud Delivery
Overview
Own and lead the Agile Release Train across multiple teams delivering cloud-based capabilities at scale in a financial services environment. You will align strategy, planning, and execution with Product and Technology leaders, coach Scrum Masters, and drive continuous improvement across the ART. This role emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and data-driven decision making. You will operate primarily in Central Time with hybrid in Tempe or St Louis offices.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead and facilitate the Agile Release Train ensuring alignment from roadmap to solution delivery
- 2Coordinate SAFe events including PI Planning Scrum of Scrums ART Syncs and Inspect & Adapt workshops
- 3Coach leaders teams and stakeholders on Lean-Agile principles and practices
- 4Mentor Scrum Masters and advance Agile maturity across the ART
- 5Identify track escalate and resolve risks dependencies and delivery impediments
- 6Utilize delivery metrics reporting and performance indicators to improve predictability
- 7Optimize ART flow by reducing cross-team dependencies and improving coordination across multiple teams
- 8Collaborate with Agile coaches peer RTEs and delivery leaders to advance organizational Agile maturity
- 9Support teams operating within Central Time Zone business hours
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 25+ years of experience in Agile delivery technology product development or related environments
- 3Experience leading complex cross-functional programs as an RTE Scrum Master or similar role
- 4Working knowledge of SAFe Scrum and Kanban
- 5Experience facilitating program-level planning and execution events across multiple teams
- 6Ability to analyze delivery metrics and use data to drive execution improvements
- 7Technical background with understanding of cloud-based technology environments and blockers
- 8SAFe Release Train Engineer certification preferred or substantial RTE experience considered in lieu of certification
- 9Candidates within commutable distance to Tempe AZ or St Louis MO expected to work in office four days a week from June 1 2026 and three days a week before
