Regional Service Manager, Power Storage & DC Power Solutions
Overview
Owns the regional service and operations portfolio for a defined geography including P&L, A/R and inventory control tied to work orders. Leads personnel development, quality, and customer projects while expanding the service base. Drives on-time performance, cost management, and customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and state-of-the-art power technology expertise. Collaborates with regional teams, sales, and customers to deliver scalable service solutions and growth.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead the regional service department's financial results, on-time performance, quality, and customer service while expanding the base business.
- 2Develop inputs to the strategic and annual business plan, manpower reviews, operation summaries, and cost reduction actions, presenting them to internal and external customers.
- 3Hire and develop staff, administer service division policies including EEO, Safety, EPA, and HR procedures.
- 4Manage regional staff, admin, and project contributors; coordinate service and installation projects within the region.
- 5Provide ongoing technical training to stay current with power technology relevant to the customer base and services.
- 6Apply continuous improvement techniques to achieve industry leading processes, applications and services that expand the customer base.
- 7Coordinate with regional leadership on project timing, resources, and risk management.
- 8Oversee material coordination, site supervision, variance control, and safety management within DC power environments.
- 9Foster customer relations and cross-functional collaboration with sales, engineering, and field teams.
- 10Monitor operations performance metrics and drive initiatives to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
Requirements5
- 1Technical degree from a two-year program with preference for a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field
- 2Broad technical service business experience including field engineering, material coordination, site supervision, variance control, revenue enhancement, customer relations, and safety management within the DC power industry
- 3Managerial experience with strong human relations skills
- 4Experience coordinating service and installation projects across a regional footprint
- 5Ability to develop and implement process improvements and performance metrics
Salary Insight
$90 - $120k per year
