Recruitment Coordinator, HR Generalist & Arizona Statewide Recruitment
Overview
The Recruitment Coordinator will support ADOT divisions by coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities at scale. They will partner with hiring managers, HR partners, and field staff to manage job postings, resumes, screenings, and interview processes. The role includes CDL verification, employment verifications, position maintenance, and other HR inquiries while allowing for remote work within Arizona based on performance. This position emphasizes DE&I, customer service, and continuous improvement in HR operations.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage recruitment workflows including job postings, resume reviews, phone screens, and interview coordination to meet hiring needs
- 2Facilitate HR operational tasks such as onboarding, 1-9 verification, CDL verification, and employee inquiries to ensure accurate records
- 3Coordinate position maintenance and employment verifications while maintaining sensitive personnel files and HR records
- 4Support customer service for Recruitment, CDL Verification, and Classification & Compensation through consistent, compliant processes
- 5Collaborate with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and field HR staff to align recruitment with department policies and DE&I goals
- 6Track and analyze recruitment metrics and administrative data to drive improvements in efficiency and quality
- 7Contribute to remote work arrangements and policy adherence while maintaining performance standards
- 8Assist with ad-hoc HR projects and process improvements to modernize HR services
- 9Ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws and agency policies in all recruitment activities
- 10Maintain knowledge of HR software systems and tools used for recruitment and data entry
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or closely related field
- 2Two years of experience in Human Resources or equivalent HR certifications preferred
- 3Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and AZ agency policies
- 4Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and employee verification processes
- 5Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Google Suite, and HR systems
- 6Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities in a service-oriented environment
