Human Resources Liaison, State of Arizona Dept of Transportation
Overview
This role provides a full range of HR administrative support across the agency at scale. You will handle confidential personnel actions, onboarding and offboarding, and performance management related tasks. You will partner with HR staff to research, interpret requirements, and provide timely resolutions. The position offers flexibility with the potential for remote work within Arizona based on performance. You will operate in a collaborative environment focused on accuracy and process improvement.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and review HR personnel actions including onboarding and offboarding to ensure timely processing
- 2Review qualifications and process spot and merit incentive requests
- 3Provide technical expertise to administrative personnel and assist in HR workflow training
- 4Serve as proxy and SME for the Performance Management system and address issues
- 5Assist with researching HR problems and developing resolutions
- 6Prepare written materials and correspondence and communicate with management and employees
- 7Support multi-tasking, prioritization, and conflict resolution in a fast-changing environment
Requirements8
- 1Valid driver’s license and eligibility to drive on state business
- 2Knowledge of Federal and State statutes, rules, regulations & laws
- 3Experience with Google Workspace and computer applications
- 4Ability to research, analyze, and interpret HR policies and procedures
- 5Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- 6Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage multiple tasks
- 7Experience in or exposure to HR processes and personnel actions
- 8Understanding of performance management and HR workflows
