Receptionist at Veterinary Clinic, Avimark & Client Care
Overview
Own front desk operations for a small-animal clinic with a patient-first focus. You’ll support veterinarians and technicians, manage appointments and payments, and ensure a calm client experience in a busy setting. You will join a close-knit team in Old Town Scottsdale, with onsite work and standard hours. This role offers part-time or full-time options and opportunities to grow in a veterinary environment.
What You'll Do6
- 1Answer phone calls and schedule appointments with accuracy
- 2Process payments and maintain clear client records
- 3Assist Technicians and Veterinarians during procedures and exams
- 4Interface with clients to explain services and fees in a compassionate manner
- 5Maintain organization and confidentiality of medical and client information
- 6Operate and troubleshoot the Avimark Software System and other office tools
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Previous administrative experience, preferably in healthcare
- 3Familiarity with veterinary medical billing software advantageous
- 4Intermediate computer proficiency
- 5Basic arithmetic skills
- 6Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- 7Ability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
- 8Confident, empathetic communication with clients and staff
- 9Capacity to work well during distressing situations
- 10Experience: Veterinary clinic: 1 year (Required)
