Overview
Protolabs seeks a CNC Quality Inspector to ensure parts and order fulfillment meet customer requirements before shipping. This weekday night position supports rapid product delivery and innovation.
What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct X,Y,Z measurements
- 2Perform visual cosmetic inspection
- 3Verify part counts
- 4Inspect packaging accuracy
- 5Enter process information into computer systems
- 6Identify quality issues related to manufacturing processes
- 7Interface with shift supervisors regarding order quantities and part quality
- 8Coordinate corrective actions with supervisors and coworkers
- 9Determine shippability of orders
- 10Transport finished parts to shipping areas
- 11Communicate with CQRs and provide training feedback to production floors
Requirements8
- 1Strong attention to detail
- 2Ability to follow printed and computer screen instructions
- 3Good written and oral communication skills
- 4Proficiency with measuring instruments such as scales and calipers
- 5Ability to work safely with sharp tools and objects
- 6Competent use of computers and calculators
