Overview
The Quality Inspector owns final visual and dimensional inspections of products ensures incoming materials conform to specifications maintains inventory location via barcode scanning and updates documentation using FilePro. This role involves collaborating with Quality Engineers Supervisors and Cell Leads while meeting all contract requirements.
What You'll Do12
- 1Perform final visual and dimensional inspections of products
- 2Inspect incoming materials and parts from suppliers to confirm specification conformance
- 3Dispose product according to written procedures and work instructions
- 4Maintain inventory location and status via barcode scanning and electronic database
- 5Update documentation of records through FilePro written documentation and spreadsheets
- 6Communicate with Quality Engineers Supervisors and Cell Leads
- 7Complete assigned tasks by manager
- 8Operate microscope when required
- 9Work independently and as part of a team
- 10Lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- 11Pass visual acuity test
- 12Adhere to supervisor guidance with minimal intervention
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 2Strong communication skills
- 3IPC-A-610 Certified preferred
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 5Ability to use a microscope
- 6Ability to work independently and problem solve with minimal supervisor involvement
- 7Availability for 2nd Shift schedule 3:30PM-12:30AM Monday through Thursday
- 8Availability for 2nd Shift schedule 2:30PM-10:30PM every other Friday
- 9Willingness to work overtime as needed
- 10Must pass visual acuity test
- 11Ability to work independently and solve problems
