Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift
Overview
Quality Inspector leads inspection activities on the 2nd shift at KLA. You will inspect semiconductor metrology tools and identify mechanical defects while ensuring compliance with engineering drawings. This role drives quality outcomes through rigorous testing and documentation.
What You'll Do9
- 1Inspect and evaluate incoming parts and tools for mechanical integrity
- 2Identify and resolve pneumatic hydraulic and mechanical failures
- 3Perform electrical system testing and verify controller functionality
- 4Maintain detailed inspection records and quality documentation
- 5Quarantine nonconforming materials following established procedures
- 6Communicate findings with manufacturing and engineering teams
- 7Support supplier quality through incoming inspection management
- 8Track quality metrics and report rejection trends
- 9Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for inspection processes
Requirements9
- 1Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field required
- 2Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Electrical Engineering
- 32-4 years hands-on inspection experience in manufacturing environments
- 4Strong ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- 5Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- 6Proficiency with measurement tools and documentation software
- 7Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- 8Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- 9Commitment to fast-paced technical work environment
