Quality Inspector Night Shift

- 1Gather documents and prepare workstations before inspections

- 4Perform manual and CMM inspections with limited supervision
- 5Train staff on documentation requirements
- 6Provide floor inspection support and validate program accuracy
- 7Set up and break down CMM setups safely
- 8Confirm measurements against uncertainty thresholds using alternate methods
- 9Indicate pass/fail results on routers and document defects on MRR
- 10Process dispositions and sign off on MRR reports
- 11Collaborate with second shift and cross-functional teams
- 12Promote QMS and guide employees on procedural needs
- 13Identify safety and quality improvements to elevate to Quality Manager
- 14Lead improvement projects and suggest process enhancements
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience
- 2Three years as Quality Inspector II or seven years as Level III
- 3Proficiency with PC-DMIS and CMM Manager software
- 4GD&T experience across machining processes
- 5Ability to work overtime and travel up to five percent of working time
- 6Strong mathematical skills for tolerance calculations
- 7Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- 8Commitment to ISO9000 or AS9100 standards
- 9Experience in regulated environments like defense or aerospace
- 10Willingness to mentor junior inspectors
- 11Familiarity with CNC CMM operation and maintenance
