QC Inspector, PCB Quality Assurance & ITAR Compliance
Overview
This role owns final inspection of PCB assemblies and in-line quality control for a high reliability manufacturing environment. You will work on site in Milpitas with a cross functional team to ensure quality and delivery targets are met. You will collaborate with manufacturing, inspection, and engineering to uphold IPC-600 standards and customer specifications. What sets this role apart is the focus on ITAR/EAR regulated products and hands on microscopy based inspection in a precision driven setting.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and interpret blueprints and PCB schematics to verify quality against drawings and BOMs
- 2Design and perform inline quality protocols and final QC processes to meet customer requirements
- 3Inspect and test products per work orders and special instructions to ensure conformance
- 4Lead first article inspections and AS9102 documentation as needed
- 5Drive adherence to IPC-600 standards and approval processes for redline changes
- 6Maintain a clean and safe workspace and ensure proper use of inspection tools and PPE
- 7Support production priorities set by Operations leadership and escalate quality concerns
- 8Document non conformances with clear authorization and date for traceability
- 9Carry out training in inspection techniques and quality methodologies as needed
- 10Scale inspection activities to maintain productivity while preserving quality
Requirements10
- 1Must be a U.S. person per ITAR EAR ITAR contract requirements
- 2Ability to read, write, and communicate in English for job duties
- 3Experience reading prints and specifications and visually verifying fine detail work
- 4Ability to follow directions for manufacturing flexible PCB assemblies
- 5Prolonged microscope viewing and sitting; use of PPE
- 6Consistently achieve defined productivity on products processed and run product independently for 3+ months
- 7Proven record of quality, on time production; keen eye for detail and PCB experience
- 8Read and interpret safety rules, machine maintenance, and procedure manuals
- 9Positive, reliable team player with confidentiality mindset
- 10Hazardous Communication training related to cyanide safety prior to work assignments
