Lead PCB Inspection specialist driving quality across aerospace and defense sectors. Own end-to-end inspection processes from raw materials to finished assemblies. Deliver measurable improvements in yield and compliance through rigorous testing and documentation.
What You'll Do7
- 1Read blueprints and/or engineering specifications to obtain information such as specified material, electrical, cosmetic requirements and workmanship instructions
- 2Perform visual and dimensional inspections of printed circuit board assemblies to ensure workmanship which complies with the appropriate requirements from engineering drawings, process specifications, IPC-610 standards, J-STD-001 and customer specific criteria
- 3Use electrical meters or instruments to confirm adherence to electrical specifications during component inspection
- 4Inspect conformal coating under both black and white light
- 5Perform first article inspections of boards after Thru-Hole assembly
- 6Conduct sub-assembly, box build, shipping, and receiving inspections as required
- 7Assist in failure investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action activities and quality improvement projects
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading cross-functional quality teams
- 3IPC Certification (active or in process)
- 4Minimum 2 years final inspection experience in electronic components
- 5Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications and PCB gerbers
