Overview

You will own final inspection of PCB assemblies using microscopes, halo lights, and GD&T tools in a controlled manufacturing environment. Working under close supervision, you ensure products meet customer and internal quality standards. You will join a small quality team of four in a quiet, controlled environment, reporting to operations leadership. What You'll Do10

  • 1Inspect PCB assemblies under microscopes or halo lights to verify compliance with specifications.
  • 2Verify PCB assemblies against customer drawings, BOMs, and internal standards.
  • 3Apply workmanship practices per industry standards and internal quality requirements.
  • 4Interpret blueprints, PCB drawings, and schematics to confirm product conformity.
  • 5Check drawing adequacy and ensure redlined changes have proper authorization and dates.
  • 6Execute in-line quality protocols, final QC, and IQC procedures as assigned.
  • 7Follow production priorities and test products per work orders and special instructions.
  • 8Perform First Article inspections, including AS9102 documentation.
  • 9Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and templates to validate dimensions.
  • 10Document results in ERP/QMS systems with MS Excel and Word.

Requirements10

  • 14+ years of quality inspection experience in aerospace, medical, or equivalent controlled environments.
  • 2Hands-on experience with PCB inspection and PCB assemblies.
  • 3Ability to read engineering drawings, PCB schematics, blueprints, and BOMs.
  • 4Proficiency in GD&T and geometrical tolerances for dimensional inspection.
  • 5Experience with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and templates.
  • 6Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and final inspection processes.
  • 7Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • 8PC literacy in MS Excel, Word, email, and ERP/QMS data entry.
  • 9Strong attention to detail for identifying defects and nonconformances.
  • 10Ability to meet productivity targets and support on-time production.
