What You'll Do11

  • 1Perform visual physical and dimensional inspections of machined parts
  • 2Inspect parts against engineering drawings specifications and inspection plans
  • 3Verify compliance using appropriate inspection methods and measurement equipment
  • 4Review and validate inspection plans and supporting quality documentation
  • 5Compile final inspection sign-off sheets and inspection packages
  • 6Identify and document non-conformances and submit findings for customer disposition
  • 7Validate justification for uninspected features or parts during final inspection
  • 8Accurately document results within the Quality Management System
  • 9Follow inspection plans procedures and acceptance criteria
  • 10Maintain detailed records and work within established QMS
  • 11Drive inspection outcomes within six month contract period

Requirements11

  • 1Hands-on experience performing mechanical and dimensional inspections
  • 2Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements
  • 3Experience reviewing Certificates of Conformance and quality documentation
  • 4Proficiency with precision measurement tools such as calipers micrometers gauges and indicators
  • 5Ability to read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings specifications and tolerances
  • 6Experience following inspection plans procedures and acceptance criteria
  • 7Strong attention to detail for documenting non-conformances
  • 8U.S. citizenship or green card eligibility due to ITAR regulations
  • 95+ years manufacturing experience including mechanical inspection
  • 10At least 2 years hands-on mechanical inspection experience
  • 11Relocation assistance available
