What You'll Do7

  • 1Inspect supplier parts with micrometers, calipers, and CMM against approved sampling plans.
  • 2Verify incoming, in-process, and completed products to AS9100 and FAA CFR 145 specs.
  • 3Quarantine non-conforming parts and issue disposition tags within 24 hours.
  • 4Coordinate non-conforming product reviews with engineering and supply chain.
  • 5Audit area performance metrics monthly and flag improvement opportunities.
  • 6Train 2 new inspectors on AS9100 documentation and FAA reporting.
  • 7Support the Repair Station Quality Manager in compliance audits.

Requirements5

  • 1HS diploma or G.E.D plus 2+ years in quality inspection.
  • 2Eligible for FAA Repairmen Certification per 14 CFR Part 65.
  • 3Experience reading blueprints and using CMM and GD&T.
  • 4Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • 5Aerospace or regulated industry background preferred.
