What You'll Do10

  • 1Perform in-process and final inspections on production assemblies using Microscopes and precision tools per work instructions.
  • 2Conduct incoming material verification, including special handling for glues, adhesives, and chemicals with correct labeling and SDS.
  • 3Review Travelers, Work Orders, and inspection records for accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
  • 4Scan, file, and store quality records to meet ISO 9001 and customer documentation requirements.
  • 5Participate in monthly process audits and support MRB processes for nonconformances.
  • 6Monitor daily ESD compliance, including humidity checks and documentation.
  • 7Enforce quality procedures and handling requirements in the production environment.
  • 8Provide clear inspection status updates during daily stand-up meetings.
  • 9Assist in training technicians on inspection criteria and quality expectations.
  • 10Identify and implement improvements to inspection and documentation processes.

Requirements10

  • 12+ years in manufacturing, inspection, or quality role.
  • 2High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3Comfort performing microscope-based inspections on small precision parts and fiber optic components.
  • 4Ability to follow detailed work instructions and established quality procedures.
  • 5Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in documentation.
  • 6Basic computer skills with ability to learn Arena PLM and quality systems.
  • 7Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
  • 8Experience with incoming and in-process inspections in a production environment.
  • 9Ability to work methodically and independently with minimal supervision.
  • 10Familiarity with ESD-controlled environments and daily compliance practices.
