Overview
Own first piece, receiving, in-process, and source inspections for complex, high-mix manufacturing in New Port Richey, FL. Use CMM and precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gages. What You'll Do8
- 1Operate CMM and calipers, micrometers, and height gages to inspect parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- 2Execute first piece, receiving, in-process, and source inspections per AS9100 and ISO9001 procedures.
- 3Document inspection results in corrective action reports and drive issues to closure.
- 4Complete First Article Inspections (FAIRs) and generate FAIR reports using Discus software.
- 5Perform daily Kamishibai checks and follow verbal and written instructions.
- 6Track and report inspection outcomes using SAP and MS Office tools.
- 7Communicate ideas and concerns to management to improve quality processes.
- 8Work overtime and flexible hours to meet production deadlines.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of quality assurance inspection in a manufacturing environment with high mix and complex products.
- 2Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, FAA regulations, PRMRB, and QMS processes.
- 3Experience with CMM machines from Zeiss, Mitutoyo, or Brown & Sharpe.
- 4Ability to read complex engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
- 5Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, height gages, comparators, and oscilloscopes.
- 6Experience with first piece, final, receiving, and source inspections.
- 7Familiarity with Discus First Article software and Net Inspect.
- 8Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
- 9Ability to write CAPAs and create DIR/DIPs using correct AQLs.
- 10Willingness to travel domestically (10%) and pass color vision and visual acuity tests.
