Overview
You own maintenance and work order completion for a Dallas apartment complex with 200+ units. You report to the Property Manager and join a team of 3 technicians. This role stands out because you handle diverse repairs from HVAC to PLC systems with leadership potential.
What You'll Do9
- 1Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical equipment during your first 30 days.
- 2Debug and repair electrical issues, including breaker panels and wiring, using ohmmeters and multimeters.
- 3Fix plumbing leaks, replace fixtures, and clear drains with pipe wrenches and drain snakes.
- 4Complete carpentry repairs on doors, windows, and cabinetry using power saws and drills.
- 5Apply drywall patching and painting to maintain interior finishes.
- 6Automate facility controls using PLCs and troubleshoot HVAC controls.
- 7Weld metal components per safety protocols and read schematics to diagnose issues.
- 8Lead maintenance projects, scheduling tasks and coordinating with other technicians.
- 9Address resident concerns promptly in English and Spanish.
Requirements10
- 13+ years in facilities maintenance or building operations.
- 2HVAC repair and troubleshooting experience, including refrigerant handling.
- 3Electrical repair skills with ohmmeter and multimeter use.
- 4Plumbing repair experience, including pipe and fixture replacement.
- 5Carpentry skills for door, window, and cabinetry repairs.
- 6PLC programming knowledge for automation systems.
- 7Welding certification and experience.
- 8Ability to read schematics for electrical and mechanical systems.
- 9Fluent in English and Spanish.
