Project Engineer II - San Francisco CA
Overview
Project Engineer II leads field operations supporting Project Managers at Bay Cities Excavators, Inc. The role involves collecting and analyzing data while spending 75% of time on construction projects. This position focuses on operational execution across multiple projects with emphasis on accurate reporting and team coordination.
What You'll Do11
- 1Distribute and update project plans to team and subcontractors
- 2Track material needs and place advance orders
- 3Perform material takeoffs using Bluebeam or manual methods
- 4Review and submit submittals including supplier and subcontractor documents
- 5Coordinate subcontractor scheduling and manage daily extra work reports
- 6Prepare daily production analysis and dispatch orders
- 7Submit daily timecards and coordinate with foremen
- 8Create weekly SWPPP inspections and submit permit applications
- 9Process invoices and create purchase orders
- 10Maintain site safety through inspections and accident reporting
- 11Document subcontractor performance and communicate updates
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software
- 3Experience with AGTEK takeoff software and Spectrum
- 4Ability to calculate complex mathematical formulas for area/volume measurements
- 5Valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicles
- 6Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 72+ years in construction estimating support or project engineering
- 8SWPPP QSP certification preferred
- 9Strong relationship management and leadership abilities
- 10Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
