Overview
You will own the full lifecycle of schematic design, design development, and construction documents for large-scale Senior Living, Healthcare, Multi-Family, and Retail projects. You'll lead the technical team using Revit and AutoCAD, coordinating with engineering and interior design disciplines. Working with the Project Manager, you'll set design parameters and ensure quality control. What You'll Do8
- 1Lead the production of schematic design, design development, and construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD for new and modified structures.
- 2Establish design and analysis parameters with the Project Manager, ensuring compliance with firm standards and code requirements.
- 3Supervise technical drafters, coordinating schedules, deliverables, and drawing performance across multiple projects.
- 4Coordinate with engineering and interior design teams to integrate building systems and building envelope solutions.
- 5Manage contract terms and conditions, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met on schedule.
- 6Perform construction administration services including site visits, RFIs, and submittal reviews per contract.
- 7Drive quality control through design reviews, code research, and site surveys, maintaining high standards for senior living and healthcare facilities.
- 8Mentor junior staff in Revit workflows and construction documentation best practices.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of architectural experience with a licensed architect credential.
- 22+ years at Project Architect level, managing projects from concept through construction.
- 35-8 years of Revit proficiency, including complex modeling and documentation.
- 4Experience coordinating with engineering disciplines (structural, MEP) and interior design.
- 5Working knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and building envelope design.
- 6Ability to produce and lead teams in generating drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- 7Software proficiency in Autodesk Revit 2019, Autodesk AutoCAD 2019, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
- 8Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- 9Demonstrated focus, organization, and attention to detail with a positive attitude.
- 10Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
