Project Architect, High-End Interiors & REVIT
Overview
Lead high-end workplace, media, and retail interior projects from design development through construction. Own the technical delivery of REVIT models and construction documents for a collaborative studio in New York. Partner with design teams, consultants, and clients to translate concepts into buildable details. What You'll Do10
- 1Develop and coordinate design drawings and construction documents for interior architecture projects using REVIT and AutoCAD.
- 2Lead detailed working drawings with consultants to align disciplines and maintain technical accuracy.
- 3Perform site surveys, gather field information, and prepare due diligence reports to inform design.
- 4Conduct building code reviews and integrate code requirements into construction documents.
- 5Refine design concepts with the Design Team, translating ideas into workable drawings and evaluating alternatives.
- 6Maintain high standards of technical and design quality control through all project phases.
- 7Execute construction administration duties: site visits, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and evaluate change orders.
- 8Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients to report status and resolve issues.
- 9Deliver projects within schedules and budgets, meeting client requirements.
- 10Mentor and coordinate architecture and design staff in document production.
Requirements10
- 14-10 years professional architectural experience, with 8-15 years strongly valued.
- 2Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- 3Extensive experience developing construction documents for commercial interiors.
- 4Proven ability to lead architecture and design staff and external consultants.
- 5Thorough knowledge of construction materials, standards, and building codes.
- 6On-site construction field experience, including construction administration.
- 7High proficiency in REVIT, required for this role.
- 8Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 9Ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines in a deadline-intensive environment.
- 10Experience with workplace, retail, or media projects preferred, high-end interiors focus.
