What You'll Do11

  • 1Lead and manage multifamily residential projects from concept through construction taking ownership of full project lifecycle
  • 2Coordinate design documentation and permitting processes for timely accurate delivery
  • 3Ensure compliance with NYC Department of Buildings regulations and building codes
  • 4Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to develop design concepts detailed drawings and construction documentation
  • 5Collaborate with internal team members and oversee junior staff providing guidance throughout all phases
  • 6Communicate directly with clients presenting design ideas and managing expectations
  • 7Work on mid-rise and high-rise residential buildings ranging from 70,000 to over 200,000 square feet
  • 8Participate in all project phases including schematic design design development construction documents and construction administration
  • 9Support space planning and layout development for multifamily residential projects
  • 10Act as project lead coordinating schedules deliverables and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • 11Contribute to family-style office culture sharing knowledge offering feedback and supporting team success

Requirements11

  • 1Proven experience delivering NYC multifamily residential projects including mid-rise and high-rise buildings
  • 2Demonstrated project management and project lead experience across full project lifecycle
  • 3Proficiency in AutoCAD for design and construction documentation
  • 4Intermediate or higher proficiency in Revit for full project lifecycle
  • 5Strong client-facing communication skills including presenting design concepts and managing client relationships
  • 6Team leadership experience including overseeing and mentoring junior staff
  • 7Hands-on experience in schematic design design development and construction documents
  • 8Experience with construction administration for multifamily residential projects
  • 9Ability to perform effective space planning for multi-family residential buildings
  • 10Design-oriented with strong eye for detail and quality
  • 11Architectural licensure valued and considered a strong plus
