Overview
Architect leading production of construction documents and supporting projects from concept through construction administration. This role involves managing multiple projects while growing into higher responsibilities within a collaborative firm culture.
What You'll Do15
- 1Produce construction documents independently ensuring accuracy completeness and alignment with project goals
- 2Lead architectural design from programming through design development construction documentation and construction administration
- 3Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various scales and complexities maintaining schedules and deliverables
- 4Serve as primary point of contact for clients owners and stakeholders providing clear communication and responsive service
- 5Coordinate closely with consultants including MEP structural civil landscape and specialty vendors to integrate disciplines into cohesive project documents
- 6Develop detailed construction documents and technical specifications using Revit and AutoCAD
- 7Oversee code analysis life safety plans and permitting processes to ensure regulatory compliance
- 8Review shop drawings RFIs submittals and change orders providing timely well-reasoned responses
- 9Conduct site visits and field observations during construction to monitor progress identify issues and support successful delivery
- 10Assist with and lead construction administration tasks including documentation coordination and issue resolution
- 11Ensure quality control and adherence to firm standards across all project deliverables
- 12Mentor and guide junior architects and designers sharing technical expertise and best practices
- 13Participate in project budgeting scheduling and staffing discussions to support efficient execution
- 14Support business development efforts including proposals and client presentations
- 15Assist with client communication and coordination for mid-level responsibilities
Requirements11
- 15–20 years professional experience in architecture with strong technical capabilities at all levels
- 2Demonstrated ability to independently produce construction documents especially for mid-level candidates
- 3Proven experience supporting projects from concept through construction administration
- 4Proficiency in Revit creating detailed construction drawings and documents
- 5Strong background in architectural design design development and construction drawings
- 6Experience with construction administration including reviewing RFIs shop drawings and change orders
- 7Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants across multiple disciplines
- 8Solid understanding of building codes life safety requirements and permitting processes
- 9Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients owners stakeholders and internal teams
- 10Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle varying scales and complexities
- 11Experience with AutoCAD SketchUp and Lumion is a plus
