Overview

You'll own front-desk operations and enrollment support for a 40-child early education center serving homeless families in metro Atlanta. Our House integrates NAEYC-accredited classrooms, shelter, and family services, so your work directly impacts family stability. You'll be the first point of contact for families, volunteers, and vendors, managing intake forms, attendance, and supply inventory. You'll coordinate with the Family Advocate and ECE Site Director to keep daily operations smooth. What You'll Do10

  • 1Greet and direct visitors, families, volunteers, and vendors, maintaining a welcoming and professional front desk.
  • 2Answer phones promptly, providing accurate information about programs and referring callers to the Family Advocate for eligibility.
  • 3Monitor and manage enrollment and intake web forms, ensuring data is collected and entered accurately into the database.
  • 4Maintain attendance records in the database and support the ECE Site Director with administrative tasks.
  • 5Keep public areas safe, clean, and organized, including coordinating classroom supply distribution and monthly supply orders.
  • 6Support drop-off and pick-up procedures, verifying documentation for child safety and sign-in for volunteers and consultants.
  • 7Provide meeting set-up and clean-up, and handle mail, faxes, and filing systems.
  • 8Act as opening or closing administrator for the ECE program, ensuring site security and support.
  • 9Assist with in-kind donation tracking, organizing supplies, and coordinating on-site volunteers.
  • 10Occasionally assist in classrooms and communicate with parents as needed.

Requirements10

  • 11+ year of related experience in an office or program support role.
  • 2High School Diploma required; AA or higher in Business Administration or Social Services preferred.
  • 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • 4Experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus.
  • 5Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • 6Proof of Tuberculosis (TB) test clearance required prior to employment.
  • 7Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 8Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • 9Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • 10Comfort with virtual technology and databases for data entry.
