Child Development Center Associate, Administrative Support
Overview
As a CDC Associate, you'll be the first point of contact for families and a key support for daily operations. You'll manage enrollment, records, and office tasks while occasionally stepping into classrooms. With a team of dedicated staff and a welcoming environment, you'll gain hands-on experience in child care administration. What You'll Do8
- 1Handle inquiries from prospective and current preschool families, guiding them from initial contact through registration.
- 2Maintain accurate waitlists and schedule tours for families to showcase our center.
- 3Update records and manage office supplies to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- 4Answer phone calls and emails promptly, addressing questions about policies, tuition, and enrollment.
- 5Support tuition collection and balance tracking following YMCA procedures.
- 6Administer the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) documentation and assist with compliance.
- 7Assist with daily administrative needs for preschool and afterschool programs.
- 8Step into classrooms to support teachers and ensure a safe, engaging environment.
Requirements7
- 118+ years old
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 32+ years of customer service or administrative experience preferred
- 4Professional office experience
- 5Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 6Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- 7Pass a criminal history background check, Sex Offender Registry check, and pre-employment drug screen
