What You'll Do11
- 1Build and supervise the manufacturing team to meet daily production plans and on-time shipping targets
- 2Lead safety programs and training for new department personnel to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations
- 3Monitor materials, equipment, and staffing setups to optimize line performance and throughput
- 4Review production schedules and assign work to ensure timely, defect-free product
- 5Cross-train associates across departments to maintain throughput without loss of efficiency
- 6Maintain quality workmanship and sign off on finished goods that meet specifications
- 7Order materials and follow materials procedures to prevent production delays
- 8Identify and report delays promptly to the supervisor and cover for supervision when needed
- 9Foster positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers
- 10Support continuous improvement initiatives and CIW/TCCI goal achievement
- 11Maintain housekeeping and a safe work environment
Requirements6
- 1A high school diploma or equivalent is required, some college preferred
- 2Minimum 3-5 years of progressive manufacturing line responsibility
- 3Strong leadership and communication abilities
- 4Ability to read production documents and identify parts/products
- 5Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, electric pallet jack, crane
- 6Basic computer skills with familiarity of Microsoft Office Products
