- 6Align with engineering purchasing and operations project engineers to meet project requirements
- 7Ensure projects are completed within budgeted cost and schedule while meeting quality requirements
- 8Maintain redline and as-built drawing processes strictly
- 9Establish work unit objectives and standards
- 10Track quality schedule and cost performance metrics
- 11Develop standard work procedures to improve department productivity
- 12Train employees on new work methods and procedures
- 13Enforce safe work practices and maintain HSE programs including Lock-out Tag-out
- 14Identify acquire tools and capital equipment to improve efficiency
- 15Manage department budgets and prioritize shop expenditures
- 16Validate and update training curriculum and ensure completion of required training
- 17Complete tasks as directed by Operations Manager with minimal supervision
- 18Maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements12
- 1Heavy Mechanical background with pumps motors process piping valves control valves skid-based units process skids instrumentation
- 2Ability to read and interpret P&ID ISO and engineering assembly drawings
- 3Strong shop math and proficiency in AutoCAD MS Word MS Excel
- 47-10 years technical experience in manufacturing/industrial settings
- 55+ years supervisory experience
- 6Knowledge of AutoCAD MS Word MS Excel
- 7Experience communicating issues and solutions with project engineers
- 8ISO certified environment experience preferred
- 9Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- 10Exposure to dust odors oil fumes and noise
- 11Familiarity with steel-toe boot requirements in manufacturing facility
- 12Commitment to continual improvement and quality management systems
