Production Manager, Flexographic Printing & Manufacturing
Overview
The Production Manager will own plant operations to drive performance at scale in an on-site Arizona facility. You will oversee manufacturing processes, quality, safety, and staffing to meet customer demands at target costs. You will work with the CSR and Production teams to optimize throughput and implement lean initiatives. This role offers a family-driven culture and opportunities to contribute across engineering, quality, and operations.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead daily production planning and scheduling by press and job to meet turnaround targets
- 2Maintain equipment, facilities, and tooling to ensure reliable operations
- 3Investigate root causes of internal and external complaints and implement corrective actions
- 4Oversee lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- 5Manage payroll, overtime, vacation approvals, and training for production staff
- 6Coach and develop production personnel to achieve department and company goals
- 7Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality specifications, and SOPs
- 8Monitor inventory movements and ensure efficient resource allocation
- 9Communicate production status and information clearly to staff
- 10Drive cost control and throughput improvements across the production cycle
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 23-5 years’ experience in a Production Management Position
- 34-7 years’ experience in Flexographic Printing Industry
- 4Experience with lean manufacturing and safety standards
- 5Strong leadership and payroll management experience
