Process Engineer at Flex
Overview
Join Flex to lead process engineering initiatives driving cost quality and delivery improvements in a manufacturing organization. What You'll Do11
- 1Recognize manufacturing processes technologies and product requirements
- 2Define implement and evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability
- 3Identify root causes of failures with engineering stakeholder collaboration
- 4Participate in daily production activities and problem solving
- 5Prepare justification and implement capital equipment purchases
- 6Hold up and oversee new process equipment production
- 7Establish robust repeatable process parameters and control methodologies
- 8Develop and take ownership of process control methodologies
- 9Troubleshoot process related issues
- 10Participate in cycle time and process improvements
- 11Evaluate engineered materials and conduct statistical process research
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 25+ years experience in high-regulated environments such as Medical or Aerospace
- 3High-volume manufacturing experience supporting 24/5 operations
- 4Proficiency with screen printing circuit etching plating AutoCAD AutoCAD Inventor and Microsoft Access
- 5PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
- 6Lean and Six Sigma knowledge or eagerness to obtain certification
- 7Advanced operations technical and people skills
- 8Customer relationship skills both external and internal
- 9Excellent Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency
- 10Proficiency in PowerPoint Word and PowerPoint
