What You'll Do10

  • 1Take ownership of delinquent private pay accounts after initial billing
  • 2Contact residents, families, and authorized representatives regarding balances
  • 3Maintain consistent follow-up via calls, emails, letters, and approved methods
  • 4Negotiate payment arrangements within company policy
  • 5Monitor aging and prioritize collection efforts
  • 6Research discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
  • 7Document all activity accurately in company systems
  • 8Provide regular updates on collection status
  • 9Review aging reports and coordinate with billing on unresolved balances
  • 10Assist with waiver accounts and external partners when needed

Requirements10

  • 1High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2Minimum of 2 years of collections or accounts receivable experience
  • 3Healthcare, senior living, or medical collections experience preferred
  • 4Experience with private-pay collections strongly preferred
  • 5Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
  • 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 7Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • 8Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • 9Experience with PointClickCare or similar healthcare software preferred
  • 10Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
