What You'll Do8
- 1Support classroom environment by greeting children and families establishing professional relationships
- 2Recognize and respond to individual developmental behavioral cultural and learning needs following IEPs and behavioral support plans
- 3Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs
- 4Communicate professionally using Cadence approved tools and systems
- 5Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual documenting and reporting accidents and incidents
- 6Manage document and escalate child behaviors aligning with Cadence policies
- 7Adhere to all Cadence Education policies and procedures from the Employee Handbook
- 8Participate in required meetings trainings and professional development outside regular hours
Requirements7
- 1Ability to consistently follow safety procedures including name-to-face accountability food allergy processes bottle feeding procedures and safe sleep practices
- 2Collaborative teamwork within classroom settings
- 3Effective reading writing and speaking in English
- 4Associate or bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- 5Meet state licensing qualifications for a teacher in a licensed childcare center
- 6Obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings
- 7CDA preferred but not required if state requirements satisfied
