Toddler Lead Teacher, Early Childhood Education
Overview
You will create a warm, inclusive classroom for younger two-year-olds, ensuring safety and developmental growth. You will implement Cadence Education curriculum and IEPs while partnering with families. This role blends teaching with program leadership, requiring CDA or state credentials. You will make an immediate impact on children's learning in a supportive, collaborative school.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build a welcoming classroom where each child feels respected and safe, using Name-to-Face accountability daily.
- 2Plan and deliver curriculum aligned with Cadence Education philosophy and Signature Programs for toddlers.
- 3Implement IEPs and behavioral plans to support diverse developmental needs.
- 4Communicate daily with parents through required tools, sharing progress and milestones.
- 5Maintain a safe, supervised environment per the Cadence Education Safety Manual and DHS licensing.
- 6Document accidents and incidents accurately and report them immediately.
- 7Complete required trainings and participate in staff meetings, even outside work hours.
- 8Guide assistant teachers in classroom routines and child engagement strategies.
Requirements7
- 1Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- 26-12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
- 3Meet state DHS licensing qualifications for Lead Teachers.
- 4Must obtain CDA, CCP, or NAC credential if required by state.
- 5Ability to pass background clearances and health screenings.
- 6Proven ability to follow safety procedures including Safe Sleep and food allergy processes.
- 7Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
