Plant Reliability Technician Coil Coating
Overview
Lead reliability technician for high-volume coil coating operations in Indianapolis. Own troubleshooting repairs and preventive maintenance while collaborating across electrical mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and utility systems. Ensure safe fast-paced production restoration.
What You'll Do11
- 1Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures on production equipment
- 2Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- 3Diagnose electrical issues involving motors controls sensors and industrial wiring
- 4Repair and maintain gearboxes conveyors bearings chains couplings pumps and rotating equipment
- 5Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- 6Maintain plant utilities including boilers evaporators wastewater treatment equipment and compressed air systems
- 7Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
- 8Document completed work in the CMMS
- 9Follow OSHA safety standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures
- 10Own electrical 480V industrial equipment motors and motor starters
- 11Manage mechanical gearboxes bearings chains and conveyors
Requirements12
- 13+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- 2Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills
- 3Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
- 4Hydraulic and pneumatic system experience
- 5Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- 6Supply your own hand tools
- 7Comfortable in heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- 8Background in steel aluminum coil coating or other heavy manufacturing
- 9Welding and fabrication experience
- 10Predictive maintenance exposure
- 11Schedule 3rd Shift 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- 122-2-3 Rotating Schedule 2 days on 2 days off 3 days on 3 days off repeats
