Production Operator - 3rd Shift IBC Coatings Technologies
Overview
Lead a team of operators on the 3rd shift at IBC Coatings Technologies in Indianapolis. You will own production processes and ensure high-quality coating applications. This role drives operational excellence and supports manufacturing partners worldwide.
What You'll Do11
- 1Wear personal protective equipment including face shields respirators gloves and steel-toed boots
- 2Receive and process customer work orders using internal tracking systems
- 3Prepare customer parts for coating processes such as fixturing blasting power washing polishing grinding cleaning masking
- 4Complete work order steps and document equipment numbers part counts and hours worked
- 5Maintain facility cleanliness through regular inspections and cleaning
- 6Adhere to OSHA EPA and company safety regulations
- 7Assist with workload of other departments during downtimes with supervisor permission
- 8Serve as backup driver for S&R department
- 9Collaborate with team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- 10Support material handling and inventory management as needed
- 11Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and quality
Requirements11
- 1U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
- 2High school diploma or GED minimum
- 3Basic computer skills required
- 4Willingness to work any shift and overtime as needed
- 5Ability to work physically demanding tasks including lifting 50 pounds daily
- 6Capacity to stand for extended periods on concrete surfaces
- 7Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- 8Proven ability to prioritize tasks under management direction
- 9Valid For-Hire license obtained
- 10Forklift operation experience preferred
- 11Overhead crane experience a plus
