We seek a safety‑focused 3rd Shift Operations Supervisor to lead daily warehouse activities at our Old Hickory Tennessee facility. This full‑time role runs Sunday through Thursday nights ensuring product delivery and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency and mentor team members.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead third shift warehouse operations while supervising employees to finish daily tasks
- 2Unload receive label stock and organize inbound materials and warehouse transfers
- 3Load Superior trucks and stage supplies for next‑day deliveries and production
- 4Complete and oversee monthly cycle counts toast inventories and investigate discrepancies
- 5Support production by preparing totes performing blend tests and staging materials
- 6Assign daily work monitor progress and provide hands‑on assistance to keep the shift running
- 7Verify maintenance work orders preventive maintenance records and invoices in company systems
- 8Maintain a clean organized warehouse including equipment cleaning and space utilization
- 9Perform safety compliance tasks such as eyewash activations tank sampling and proper disposal of retain samples
- 10Train coach and hold employees accountable for safe practices quality standards productivity and procedures
- 11Troubleshoot operational issues resolve inventory concerns and communicate priorities across departments
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2At least two years of operations experience
- 3Previous supervisory experience preferred
- 4Strong safety mindset
- 5Forklift certification
- 6Effective verbal and written communication skills
- 7Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- 8Physical ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds
- 9Specific vision abilities including close distance color depth and focus adjustment
- 10Regular standing and walking throughout the shift
