Overview
You will own electrical maintenance across three Mon Valley plants, keeping heavy industrial equipment running with PLC systems, AC/DC motors, and schematics. What You'll Do8
- 1Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems and electronic equipment using schematics and test instruments.
- 2Install and maintain AC/DC motors, drives, and controls across production lines.
- 3Read and interpret electrical prints to diagnose faults and restore equipment quickly.
- 4Perform preventive maintenance on cranes, forklifts, and mobile equipment to minimize downtime.
- 5Work autonomously or with a team to resolve electrical issues in hot, cold, or noisy environments.
- 6Support operations by providing electrical expertise during shift handovers and emergencies.
- 7Document maintenance actions and communicate findings to shift supervisors.
- 8Adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing required PPE and following lockout/tagout procedures.
Requirements9
- 11+ year of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience, or equivalent military training.
- 2Hands-on knowledge of PLC systems, including troubleshooting and programming basics.
- 3Proficiency in AC/DC theory, motors, and control circuits.
- 4Ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical prints.
- 5Experience with test instruments like multimeters, megohmmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- 6High school diploma or GED.
- 7Willingness to work rotating 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- 8Must pass pre-employment assessment tests and physical requirements.
- 9Strong safety mindset and adherence to protective equipment standards.
